Adam Szentpétery (*1956) STRUCTURAL DEFORMATION V. 2013. Oil on canvas, Φ 160 cm, signed and dated on tenter frame. In the newest series of Deformation the author plays with Renaissance, or more precisely ancient problems of quadrature of a circle. By using seemingly straight, right-angled strokes of the brush he illusively reshapes a square into a circle. Pomocí zdánlivě přímých, pravoúhlých tahů štětcem iluzivně přetváří čtverec v kruh. Szentpétery svým dílem hypoteticky soutěží s průkopníkem op-artu, taktéž maďarského původu - Viktorem Vasarelym.
