While he studied environmental art at the Glasgow School of Art, he has also written several books and contributed to several musical projects. In 2013, Shrigley was nominated for the Turner Prize. The Turku Art Museum in Finland held a solo exhibition for the artist’s work in 2011, and his work has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums around Europe.
