DESCRIPTION: Ablade Glover (Ghana/UK, 1934- ). Oil on canvas. Landscape of town overlooking roofs. Signed "Glo 87" in lower left corner. In wood frame. With purchase receipt from the Arts Council of Ghana. Born in Accra, Ghana, Glover attended school in Ghana, Great Britain and the United States. He was Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Art Education and Dean of the College of Art at the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana until 1994. MEASUREMENTS: 24" x 30". Overall with frame 24-3/4" x 30-3/4". CONDITION: Light surface wear to frame, edge wear and paint marks. Upper right and lower left corners are separating.
