Hubert Shuptrine (American (Tennessee), 1936-2006). "Abstracted Floral", oil on artists board laid down on cardboard, signed lower left "Hubert Shuptrine". Highly abstracted well handled painting depicts a cluster of yellow and white flowers at upper center and many fallen blooms of the same color at lower center, the flowers presented in heavy impasto and the background a wash of grays, blues, greens, and white. Framed approximately 22.125" x 12.25", unframed 19" x 9".
