The work shows a typical subject for the artist - busy street scenes. Walkers stroll along the Promenade Anglaise in Nice. In the background appears the magnificent building of the local casino. The painting is signed lower right 'A. Berkes' and is in good condition with slight age-related signs of wear. The decorative frame with passepartout is minimally bumped in places.
