James Crawford Thom (1835-1898) Oil on Canvas Children With Ducks. A seated boy holds a white duck in his lap, to the left stands a mallard duck and to the right a young girl holds her apron out as she stands over a group of ducklings; to the left is a pond and a small shed in the back and the children are under a blossoming apple tree. In very good condition with no rips, tears or repairs; signed lower right J.C. Thom. 22 in. high x 36 in. wide.
