Acrylic and pencil on black toned laid paper New York, USA, 1993 Robert Barry (b. 1936) - American conceptual artist Dimensions, framed: 50 x 51 cm Very good condition Provenance: Private collection Berlin, Germany Robert Barry is famous for his performances; his graphic works that often relate to these fetch up to 12.000 euros on the international art market The work on hand 'Senza titolo' derives from the American conceptual artist Robert Barry and can be dated to 1993. Barry's work is concerned with the conflict between positive and negative, surface and space and material and immaterial forms and objects. The work is in very good condition. It is float-mounted and the dimensions framed are 50 x 51 cm and the dimensions of the print are 36 x 36.5 cm. Verso a gallery label gives information on the art work. Robert Barry (b. 1936) Robert Barry was born in New York in 1936. He studied at the Hunter College under the prominent artist Robert Motherwell. He later taught at the College himself. His work is often concerned with the intangible. He has worked with inert gas, radiation, acoustic frequencies, noise and language. He lives and works in New Jersey.
