Style of Gillis Van Coninxloo (17th Century) 'A Village Scene with Figures and Chickens beside a Cottage', indistinctly inscribed in pencil by an old hand verso, Oil on Panel, 21cm x 15cm ** There are great similarities 'Stylistically' to, Sebastien Vrancx (1573-1647), Joos de Momper (1564-1635), David Vinckboons (1576-c.1632), and Alexander Keirincx (1600-1652) The Staffage and delicately applied glazes are particularly reminiscent of this group from, 'The Golden Age of Dutch Painting'
