Figure majeure de l’art contemporain Scandinave, l’artiste a systématisé dans son œuvre le format 122 x 122 (cm). Une exposition intitulée “Per Kirkeby 122 x 122” a d’ailleurs été consacrée à l’artiste en 2002 au Louisiana Museum of Modern Art au Danemark. Major character in contemporary Scandinavian art, the artist had systematized the size 122 x 122 (cm) in his work. An exhibition entitled "Per Kirkeby 122 x 122" had also been dedicated to the artist in 2002 at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark.
