"Untitled (Stormy Weather I)", Warm tones give way to cool blues and greens in this elemental abstract oil painting. Non-figurative abstractionist Michael von Helms describes his paintings as dialogs between his inner self and a higher power. "In my attempt, I come face to face with the old realities of myself, and then... rearrange and reconfigure simultaneously my inner self and the two dimensional surface," he says.
