Note: The present work is a unique collaboration between artists and friends Edward Borein and Carl Oscar Borg. According to Harold G. Davidson in his undated letter of authenticity, numbered no. 1222, ''the basic drawing is Borein's and the major portion of the watercolor is Borg's''. The original letter of authenticity along with a copy of a letter describing the artists' collaboration on the painting and provenance from Borein's assistant, Ruth Cox Gordon, accompany the lot.
