According to the Director of Museum of Saryan's Art, expert Mr. Shaen Khachatryan, this painting had been referenced in one of the books by R.G. Drambyan called "Martiros Saryan", publication Yerevan 1960. This painting is currently owned by a very well known art collector Mr. Kamo Manukyan. Mr. Kamo Manukyan was a retired judge who became an art collector since 1962. He bought numerous works, total of 213 mainly Russian Art paintings by well-known artists like Ivan Shishkin, Aivazovsky,Bakst, Biliban Ilya Repin, Malevich, Yavlensky, Sarian, Minas Avetisyan, Shebuev and many others. Mr. Manukyan acquired lot of valuable pieces through many estate auctions and private well known art collectors. Mr. Manukyan is also famous by his huge Avant-garde collection including Chagall, Kandinsky, Lentulov, Rodchenko, Goncharova, Malevich and others. He was actively affiliated with Pushkin and Russian Museum as well as Tretyakoff Gallery.
