William Hart (NY, 1823-1894), The Crossroads oil on canvas (lined), faint signature at lower right, presented in a later gilt frame with gallery plaque. SS 10.5 x 18.75 in.; DOA 19 x 27 in. A well-executed and interesting early work, likely dating to the 1860s. Minor touch-up visible under black light inspection.
