Igor Pantuhoff (Russian/Am., 1911-1972), Window oil on canvas, surrealist still life of carnations in an open window, signed lower left, presented in cove molded black and gilt wooden frame with linen filet. Born in Russia in 1911, Pantuhoff emigrated to the United States and studied under the abstract expressionist painter, Hans Hoffman, before moving to California. SS 31.5 x 15.5 in.; DOA 40.5 x 24.5 in. From a Private New York Collection Fine estate condition.
