OIL ON MASO - Spanish Coastal Scene by Max Kuehne (NY, 1880-1968), signed lr, inscribed verso 'Max Kuehne, from the home after his death, given to Betty Lou Schlemm', in artist made grey sand painted panel frame with silver molded edge, SS: 9" x 11 3/4", OS: 17" x 19 3/4", fine condition, small flake and spot to frame. From the collection of a North Shore Boston physician, who often bartered his services for artwork 1920s-1930s.
