The first, a painting that hung over the fireplace at Red Echo Farm from the time it was completed until the farm was sold in 2004, oil on canvas, 17 ¼ x 21 ¼ inches. Signed and dated "Russell Cheney '20;" the second, oil on board, 8 ¼ x 10 ½ inches. Signed and dated "R. Cheney '19" l.l. Together with a photograph of the artist, signed "Russell Cheney 1921."
