A large work depicting a mother cat and four kittens, signed at the lower right. The back is inscribed in French (translated to English) "I certify that this picture is painted by Madame Henriette Ronner, Emma Ronner" Emma Ronner (1860-1936) was the artist's daughter. Affixed to the back is a Roelofs Art gallery , Amsterdam tag with wax seal. The gilt frame is possibly original.
