Ce triptyque constituait l'un des éléments principaux de l'exposition, mis en avant sur un important podium, une réalisation d'une qualité exceptionnelle en hommage au grand artiste disparu en 2004. Le tableau original, avec un bouquet de fleurs à la place du collier, est illustré dans le livre de Gruau, et se trouve toujours dans une collection privée à Genève.
