Leslie Miller was a social worker in Plymouth. The Love & Romance Project is part of the Relationship Series which included projects titled Love & Mediocrity, Jealousy, Orgasm and Mental Handicap. Love & Romance explored the 'falling in love experience' and in particular the fanatical obsession felt by the rejected lover when a relationship breaks down. Lenkiewicz investigated this in terms of the experience of an alcoholic addicted to drink, or the believer and his convictions.
