Oil on canvas, 15 1/4 x 19 3/4 inches. Signed "G. Inness" l.r. The reverse signed and dated "G. Inness/1857," the stretcher affixed with an old auction catalog entry, possibly Leonard & Co., Boston, circa 1905-10, and additionally inscribed "137 Sale 4885."We wish to thank Michael Quick for examining this painting and confirming its authenticity.
