Sheet with eight figure studies, seven in sanguine, one accomplished in black and red chalks with white touches. The subjects are copied from drawings by Antoine Watteau (1684-1721). See copy of an etching attached for reference. The drawing is on laid paper and dates probably from the 19th century. Very charming sheet.
