MIKHAIL LARIONOV 1881-1964 Tiraspol 1881-1964 (Russian) Title: Woman Lying on Bed, 1928 Technique: Signed and Dated Pencil Drawing on paper size: 26.4 x 42.5 cm / 10.4 x 16.7 in Additional Information: This drawing is hand signed in pencil by the artist "M. Larionov" in the lower left corner. It is dated in pencil "Bormes 1928" in the upper right corner. The back side of the board onto which the paper has been laid bears the label of Gallery Chantepierre, Aubonne, Switzerland. Provenance: Gallery Chantepierre, Aubonne, Switzerland. Sotheby’s, Tel Aviv, Israeli and International Art , 8th October 1998, lot 117 Condition: The paper is attached to a supporting board. There is general discolouration of the paper and burned edges. Also, there is some damage to the edges (creases, a few tears and loose corners) and to the upper corners. The drawing has a few dark spots (ink?)
