24 1/2" by 28" framed. H. Steven Oiestad (Born 1956) was active/lived in Montana. H Oiestad is known for Rural landscape, animal, still life. H. Steven Oiestad was born and raised on a ranch near Big Timber, Montana, and spent his childhood years studying and sketching the animals in his environment. He moved to Great Falls in the late 1980s, where his passion for art was once again renewed, thanks to an incredible group of artists who reside in the area. Working from his home and studio in the beautiful Sun River Valley, not far from Great Falls, Oiestad mainly concentrates on the cowboy and landscapes of present-day America. Steven Oiestad won the second place prize in the animal and wildlife category of the Third Annual Pastel 100.
