Rosario Murabito (Italian, 1907-1972), 1952, pastel on paper depicting two surrealist landscapes, 1) depicting a desiccated bull carcass in the foreground, arch-shaped rock formations, fragmented columns, and a figural fountain, signed and dated l.r., 23 1/2" x 17 1/2" sight size, 32 3/4" x 26 3/4" framed; and 2) depicting fragmented sculptures, ruins, and a distant horizon visible through apparent curtains, pinned back, a scroll inscribed "Mito Trinacro", signed and dated l.l., 24 1/4" x 18 1/4" sheet size, 32 1/2" x 26 1/2" framed.
