작품 상세
Charcoal studies. The figures appear Dutch. Signed (illegibly) in pen and dated 1851. Provenance: From the collection of J.A.S. Monks (American painter, 1850 - 1917) and to the present consignor, his great-grandson. Note: The mounting paper is similar to other paper that J.A.S. Monks used and it is very likely that Monks mounted this drawing himself. The drawing itself pre-dates Monk and was likely an object of study for him. The signature is illegible and the artist remains unidentified.
