Ed (Edmund) Paul Jr Mell (American, b. 1942) pastel on paper depicting a desert landscape. Signed lower right and dated 1978. Measures 30" (76.2cm) x 14" (35.5cm) + 5" (12.7cm) mat and frame. Provenance: Acquired from artist by his friend in Scottsdale, AZ in the late 1970's. This piece is believed to be part of a study for a large installation of three works in the Scottsdale area.
