BERTRAM HARTMAN (NYC, 1882-1960), Pencil/Paper, NYC ROOFTOPS AND BUILDINGS, 13 ¼ inches x 10 ¾ inches (sight), signed with the Bertram Hartman Estate stamp lower left. Framed and matted in gray metal under glass. CONDITION: Not laid down or glued; fastened with two tape hinges from the top; one tear at the upper right and two fold creases at upper left corner. NOTE: This is a view out the window of the artist’s NYC studio, and relates to his painting “Storm Over New York”, O/C, sold at Sotheby's, NYC, September 14, 1989, Lot #275. This drawing includes the Empire State Building at the left.
