It depicts the heads of Daedalus and his son Icarus of the Greek mythology. In the background their escape from the island of Crete is shown, in which Ikaros fell into the sea when he got too close to the sun with the self-made wings. The work is titled, signed and dated Daidalos+Ikaros Anderle 169/1986. It is in a very good condition with signs of wear. The sheet shows some tears, blemishes to the edges and creasing marks. The frame also shows some slight signs of use. The the sheet size is 50.2 x 33 cm and the overall dimensions with frame are 83 x 63.
