The sheet shows handling creases and two folding lines in the lower area. The adhesive stripes from the reverse push through to the front. There are pin holes in the corners. The frame shows traces of use. The dimensions of the sheet are 110 x 100 cm and the frame measures 120.5 x 111 cm. Anthony Green (b. 1939) Anthony Green was born 1939 in Luton, Bedfordshire. He attended the Slade School of Art, where he also used to work as a teacher a while later. A scholarship enabled him to move to Paris in 1960. In 1971 he became a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, at which he held a retrospective in 1978. His works often show an unusual perspective or he uses irregularly shaped canvases. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Tate Gallery in London own works by Anthony Greens in their collection.
