the first an architectural drawing, inscribed "Rear View" on the verso, notes regarding coloring on the recto, signed "Howell 54," matted and framed under glass (Sheet 10.75 x 13 3/8 in.; DOA 12.5 x 15.25 in.) (fading signature; minor mat burn; tape hinges on top of sheet); the second a mixed media on paper, signed "Howell 54," inscribed "2114 backyard" on the verso, matted and framed under glass (Sheet 10.75 x 14 in.; DOA 15 3/8 x 18 in.) (minor mat burn; tape hinges on top of sheet).  Purchased by the consignor from Bob Jenkins in 1978. Mr. Jenkins owned a interior design firm on Market Street in Wilmington, NC, and was the consignor's decorator.
