Signed, numbered and titled. Proof 11/30.This sheet, which is among the central works in Felixmüller's graphic oeuvre, exists in different colour variations. Our sheet shows the haggard coal miners with knobbly, sunken shoulders. In later variations, he rendered the area of the shoulders more strongly rounded. The printing plate was placed somewhat obliquely and reaches up to the upper left edge of the sheet. This is familiar from other sheets in the edition as well.
