Technique: Original Hand Signed Ink Drawing on Brown Paper laid on Card Size: approximately 66 x 89 cm / 26 x 35 in Additional Information: The drawing is hand signed in ink by the artist at the lower right corner. this is probably a study for Friesz's important painting "Repos en Provence" of 1930 which was part of the Pierre Levy collection. Reference: no. 557 (for the painting) Condition: The thin brown paper has been laid on card, but there are irregularities on the surface. The paper has split in some areas, revealing the underlying card. Tape remains verso and the work is attached to matting. The signature has partly faded.
