The butterfly signature in the plate, l.l., printed presumably by the artist in brownish ink on light laid japan. Toning throughout, small tear outside of plate, l.l., plate size approx. 9" w. x 12" h., pencil inscription verso and below plate reads "from the collection of Mortimer Mempes."
