Victorian era carved walnut rabbits/hare medallion heads. Quality craftsmanship and details down to the hair and feathers. These would look great in man cave or lodge which can have many meanings including the loss of innocence, evil/witchcraft, bad luck, the harsh reality of nature (predator/prey), a warning of danger, or, paradoxically, transformation and rebirth, the cycle of life and death, mortality, and sometimes the themes of hunting, sacrifice, or a, "breaking" of energy. Second full body pheasant/game bird with grapevine and grape cluster carry multiple, often contradictory, symbolic meanings ranging from traditional, practical, and artistic to spiritual and ominous interpretations to lavish, abundant lifestyle, luxury, and the wealth of the landowner.
