A RARE WUNDERLICH COPPER PLAQUE AFTER THE ORIGINAL 1915 DARDENELLES CAMPAIGN MEDAL, designed by I G Wright of Sydney; two circular panels side by side depicting an Australian soldier in each with the words 'Imshi Yalla' and 'Dardenelles 1915' reflecting the two sides of the original medal, overall 22.5 x 41.5 cm. The original medal was issued by the Arts and Crafts Association of Sydney to commemorate the Gallipoli landings. 'Imshi Yalla!' was learned by the Australian soldiers during their stay in Cairo and means 'Go Away'.
