After Emmanuel Fremiet (French, 1824-1910). "Credo" Silvered bronze sculpture of a medieval knight holding a banner inscribed “CREDO,” modeled after Emmanuel Frémiet’s celebrated composition. The figure stands in chain mail with shield and sword, rendered with crisp naturalistic detail and mounted on a marble base. Signed "E. FREMIET" on base. 16 1/2" x 12 1/4" x 5 1/2".
