A fossilized whale vertebrae, fitted with an inset walrus bone face and accented with baleen eyes and shoulder dots. The figure holds a fishing pole with tusk lure and baleen hook, and stands upon a carved and incised swimming fish base. Initialed RLO, and attributed to Alaska Native artist Ron Ozenna from Little Diomede. The sculpture measures approximately 28" x 17" x 15" tall.
