작품 상세

A walrus tusk figurine of a very happy unclothed female with a joyful smile and inlaid baleen accents, commissioned by the late University of Alaska Regent Darroll R. Hargraves (1940-2023) while teaching on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska in the late 1960s. He asked the unknown artist to carve a nude woman, but when the sculpture was completed, Darryl commented that it did not look like a nude. Measures approximately 2.25" x 5" tall.
