A carved effigy in the form of a bear constructed from mineralized bone or walrus tusk, likely from the Thule period to the 19th century, with incised details on the flank areas. A drilled hole within the muzzle allows for a sinew thong to be threaded and looped. Piece measures approximately 1.25" x 3.25" long.
