Leo Jensen (1926-2019), Lady and the Tiger. Tin can sculpture. Signed underneath tiger's front foot. American, 2003. Jensen was a pop artist who produced irreverent art that was serious in its cultural observations. Known best for his bronze frog sculptures on the Thread City Crossing Bridge in Willimantic, CT, Jensen infused his work with humor as well as reflections on modern American society. His paintings and sculptures are assemblages of recycled materials borrowed from items he interacted with in his youth.  H 22 in. W 26-1/2 in.  D 8 in.  Condition: Good condition.
