Tony Hunt Jr. (1961-2017) Kwagiulth Moon Whale and Owl 2002 The exceptional carved and painted wood totem in traditional Kwakwaka'wakw motif is beautifully beveled with thousands of small whittle marks like murmurations of soft chiseling that resembles ripples in water or windblown patterns. Signed by chisel marks verso. There are pencil marks verso that are assumed to be in the hand of the artist. Measures 22.25 x 7 x 5.25 inches.
