Gustavo Victor Goler (b. 1963) Santa Gertrudis - 'Mouse at Chimayo,' 2009 hand-adzed wood, gesso, natural pigments, silver milagro Commissioned by the consignor in 2009. The work features the Santuario de Chimayo church at base, with the doors of the church opening to reveal a compartment filled with Holy Dirt. A carved mouse is seen at base, a memento to the consignor's grandmother. Saint Gertrude is seen holding a staff and holding a vintage silver Sacred Heart milagro.
