작품 상세
DESCRIPTION: "Cheval de Marly" bronze sculpture after sculptor Coustou Guillaume (1677-1746). The piece is masterfully cast with a deep rich green patina and moving form. The figure of the man is sculpted with an outreached arm and head towards the sky with the horse elevated in a startled fashion. The sense of movement in the piece adds to its appeal and makes a statement in regards to its craftmanship. Nice condition with minor flaw of loose horse.CIRCA: 19th centuryORIGIN: FranceDIMENSIONS: H: 24" W: 17"
