Trozzella Pink clay, brown glaze, modelled on the lathe. Slightly everted edge with rounded lip, neck conical distinct, pear-shaped body, conical foot, high bent handles, surmounted, characterised by circular decorations, set on the lip and on the shoulder.  Checkerboard pattern on neck and shoulder, patterned on the handles at the lower part of the belly with parallel horizontal lines alternating with brown bands on the apophysis of the handles in a sunburst pattern.   Height 26 cm; Diam. of mouth 10.9 cm  5th century BC  Intact.  Messapica ceramic
