BRONZE SCULPTURE - 'Advancing Figure' by Michael Ayrton (UK, 1921-1975), a semi-abstract depiction of a struggling figure, mired from the knees down in the surface of a large slab plinth, unsigned, stamped 1/6 on back edge, 12" tall, 23 3/4" x 18 1/4", fine condition. Purchased by the consignor in 1969 from the Vincent Price Collection, includes certificates and a receipt.
