Ink and light Colour on Paper China Dimensions: 95 cm x 46 cm Wang Shizi was a professor of traditional Chinese painting. The painting with spilled ink depicts a lotus pond after rain. After being washed by rain, the lotus leaves are more tender and the lotus flowers are more delicate. There is a lovely bird standing on the curved lotus stem. Everything looks vibrant and the whole painting is full of vitality. There is an inscription by Wang describing the painting in the lower left.
