Ju Ming (Taiwan, b. 1938) bronze figure from the artist's Tai Chi series, 1986. His Tai Chi series is a group of blocky, humanoid forms performing stances from the martial art Tai Chinese This version was presented to Su Nan-Cheng, the Mayor of Kaohsiung, a municipality of Taiwan. The piece is presented on a wooden base with an inscribed brass plate on the side. Dimensions are: 4 3/4 inches tall X 4 inches wide, 12.07 cm tall X 10.16 cm wide. Weight: total weight with base is 2150 grams. All measurements are approximate.
