This lot features two Wilcox International decorative items including an elongated octagonal plateau and a circular pierced trivet. The octagonal plateau is decorated with a densely chased and repousse floral and scrollwork pattern across the surface and finished with an ornate border. The base is covered in dark felt and retains a manufacturer label for the Wilcox Silver Plate Co., a division of the International Silver Co. The accompanying circular trivet features a reticulated, openwork floral design radiating from a central medallion. Both items are composed of silverplated metal.
