Sheffield silver plate fish set housed in a mahogany box with monogrammed brass element. 24 pices plus the box. Hand chased blades and forks, celluloid or bone handles. Knives 8.5 inches, forks 7 inches, box 2.5 x 14 x 9.25 inches. Together with a Walker and Hall Silver Plate Fish Set in Box, Circa 1910 (24) Piece English Fish Cutlery Set, Sheffield, with engraved silver-plate blades and tines, incl: (6) Forks, 7 5/8 inches long; and (6) Knives, 8 3/4 inches long; in a fitted wooden case with lift out tray, burl veneered lid and shield form lid cartouche, 3 1/4 inches high, 13 x 11 inches. Provenance: The Estate of Edith (Toto) Fisher, Pittsburgh, PA. Toto Fisher was an active supporter of the arts in Pittsburgh, and served on the boards of many of the city's most important institutions, including The Carnegie Museum of Art.
