A LARGE BROWN LACQUER EIGHT-LOBED DISH YUAN/MING D: 45 cm The shallow dish stands on three short semi-circular feet, with the short sides slightly rounded and ending on eight sharp lobes. It is lacquered all over in dark brown, suffused with fine crackles. Japanese fitted wooden box. For a similar brown-lacquered eight-lobed dish but of smaller proportions, see L. King Tsi and H.
